Follow a day in the life of Leopold Bloom and his fellow Dubliners - the protagonists of James Joyce's literary masterpiece Ulysses - with a celebration of readings, performances, music, food, drink and fun as Bloomsday Buffalo celebrates its 13th year. This year's Bloomsday Buffalo celebration promises to be the largest in the history of the event in Western New York.

On Monday June 14th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, the Bloomsday Buffalo tradition continues with The Cyclops Session based on Chapter 12 of Ulysses set in Barney Kiernan’s Pub at Ulrich’s Restaurant, 674 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, which will assume the name of Barney Kiernan’s for the day.

Special Lunchtime Presentation
A special lunchtime program “Celebrating Bloomsday” featuring well-known actor and James Joyce interpreter Vincent O’Neill will take place on Wednesday, June 16 from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library,
1 Lafayette Square. Presented by the Library, riverrun, University at Buffalo Humanities Institute, and Irish Classical Theatre Company, this event is free and open to the public. O’Neill will be reading from his acclaimed one-man theatre piece “Joyicity,” which has been performed off-Broadway twice, locally and toured across the globe.
The main event will take place at the Andrews Theatre, home of the Irish Classical Theatre Company, 625 Main Street in Downtown Buffalo!

Bloomsday 2010, is free and open to the public and offers something for everyone. The festivities, including music and dance, will spill out onto Main Street as the readings, performances and music of the era continue inside the theatre.
